Edgar Ascensão is a portuguese poster artist living in Lisbon. Movies and illustration art are his biggest passion and love to illustrate for both. Immersed in world of the Alternative Movie Posters, the artist creates art with a different point of view of the movie which can provide a more conceptual perspective.
His artwork has been exhibited at prominent pop-culture art galleries such as Moor-Art Gallery in London, Hero Complex Gallery and Gallery1988 in Los Angeles. Edgar has also collaborated with PosterSpy and Printed in Blood for several specialized artbooks.
